These Terms of Use govern your access to HangSpot. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use HangSpot. HangSpot coordinates meets; it does not supervise them.
HangSpot lets adults discover, host, and join nearby hangs (platonic plans at public spots first), send a spark, chat after a clear yes, and confirm We met. Features, cities, rewards, and Plus may change as we operate. Sign-in uses Apple, Google, or email (Firebase). One person, one account.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Indian law. HangSpot is not a dating app for minors and is not a supervised venue.
Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share accounts, create multiples to bypass city, join, or rewards rules, or spoof location. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
Platonic plans only unless a hang is clearly labelled otherwise and both people consent. Respect boundaries and gender-restricted hangs. No harassment, hate, spam, scams, or illegal activity. No fake GPS or multi-accounts. Gender cannot be flipped to enter restricted hangs. Report anything unsafe — we review reports and may act without notice.
HangSpot coordinates meets; it does not supervise them, screen criminal records, or guarantee anyone’s conduct. Meet in public first, tell someone where you are going, leave anytime, and use in-app report and block. You accept the risks of meeting people you do not know.
Private and home invites stay off the public map. You accept the extra risk of private meetings. Prefer a public spot when you are unsure. Never pressure anyone to share an exact address early.
You own the hangs, messages, profile details, and photos you post, and you grant HangSpot a licence to host and display them as needed to run the product. You represent you have the rights to that content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or the law.
Host rewards, when enabled, are discretionary goodwill — not salary or a guaranteed payout — and are subject to anti-abuse review. Fraud, spoofing, or fake meets can forfeit payouts and lead to bans. HangSpot Plus, when offered, may be invite or admin grant until paid billing is live; any later paid billing follows App Store / Play / payment-provider terms.
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, that hangs will fill, or that other users are who they say they are. To the extent allowed by Indian law, HangSpot is not liable for off-app meetings, user conduct, or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, safety, fraud, or legal reasons. Some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you a mandatory local forum. Questions: support@hangspot.app.
